The Sacred Craft Consumer Surfboard Expo is happening this weekend, Saturday 5/16/09 and Sunday 5/17/09, at the Ventura County Fairgrounds.

Stop by and visit some of the more sustainable exhibitors, including Danny Hess Surfboards, Patagonia, Entropy Surfboards, Matunas Surf Wax, Green Foam, and the Surfrider Foundation, among the many, many others.

Be sure to check out Jeremy Sherwin on Saturday at noon.  He will be speaking on “Sustainable Surfboards – How Close Are We?” in the Bubble Gum Surf Wax room McBride Hall.  There will also be great musical performances by Ashley Lloyd, The Mattson 2, and Shane Stoneman.

Save gas, take the train.  The train depot is right next to the fairgrounds.
